passion projects
As a creative individual, I'm constantly seeking to refine my skills and sharpen my artistic eye. Post-uni, I'm diving deeper into creative experimentation, blending what I've learned with bold new ideas. It's a journey of constant evolution, where each project pushes the boundaries of my imagination and skill.
earth & ember
Through the platform @briefclub on Instagram, I took part in one of their weekly design competitions. This brief focused on a candle brand called Earth and Ember in need of a logo, candle sticker, plus any extras! To approach this, I did lots of experimentation, using both physical and digital methods to produce something I was happy with (see some of this experimentation below). This brief allowed me to refine my Illustrator skills with a direct purpose and end goal. Here is my final submission, giving a textured feel to a natural orange and brown colour palette with typography that translates the essence of the brand.

Wedding sign designs
Alongside taking part in competitions, I also love to help out (and use my design skills) anywhere I can. Here, I came to the aid of a family member in need of a wedding sign for their party. Giving me the creative freedom to make the design I thought would look best, I developed this, alongside a couple of smaller signs, and it was a great success. Using the couple’s favourite colour and a fluid border design interspersed with floral stems, signifying their relationship’s journey, the end result was met with great satisfaction.
